From Sept 2012 businesses manufacturing trailers must have new trailers inspected by NSAI (National Safety Authority of Ireland) to comply with EU legislation. Initially for Firestone Pizza Catering Trailers this would take the form of a small series inspection for production of up to 50 trailers.
In 2014 EC Whole Vehicle Type Approval will be extended to cover all trailers.
